Sunday Breakfast is BIG decision at my place.
Actually its a brunch, we stuff ourselves by 11:00 am & then start thinking on what’s to be made with the Shaam Ki Chai 🙂
Rachana, the owner for MusTea had reached me to try her breakfast options. It takes a lot of effort to convince my amma to order food. But, the menu here is elaborate yet simple which made it little simple. For others, ordering breakfast can be a challenge as most places serve idli-vada-dosa for breakfast. And even if you love it, having it every day could get boring. What if you wish to have breakfast later in the day or maybe through the day? MusTea can be a saviour. Not only does it serve awesome tea, it has an extensive breakfast menu & snack options.
As scheduled our breakfast arrived on time on a Sunday morning.
Labelled & packed neatly, here’s what we tried –
A quintessential breakfast dish. When served piping hot with a dollop of better, its close to heaven. MusTea whips up a mean aloo paratha. Thick with a good masala aloo stuffing. With the masala reaching the edges, every bite is fulfilling. Paired with the amazing green chutney, One of this will keep you full till Lunch ?
These have to be my fav pakoda’s after the kurkurit kanda bhajiya’s. Exactly like home-made, these were stuffed with aloo filling. The edges were soft & had not gone chewy. Would have liked the coating to be tad bit spicy, but that’s my personal choice. Special mention to the green chutney – it was superb. My folks & me both enjoyed the Bread Pakoda’s.
Another fav breakfast dish of the Mumbaikar’s & Punekar’s. This was made of mixed pulses – chana, kala chana, watana, etc. Misal for me means Hot & Spicy. Though this one was great in flavours, it lacked the kick. It was a good basic misal & not the Zanzaneet one I like ?
Loaded with Tarri, this is a great breakfast option & was loved by my folks.
Pudina Chai – Kadak with fresh pudina flavour. Loved it!!!!
MusTea food is like Ghar-Ka-Khaana. The quality of the ingredients used is good & the quantity is absolute VFM. Need to plan a visit to this place soon.
